The following is a list of the statuses that are displayed in the Status window in the filter, along with a definition of each.
- EL – EL students that have not met exit criteria on either the ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 or Alternate ACCESS assessments.
- EL Screener – EL students that have not met exit criteria on the WIDA Screener or the K-WAPT
- EL Pending – Students that have been identified in the student information system (SIS) as EL and don't have any corresponding ACCESS scores to reflect that in EduSkills or they have historical ACCESS scores in EduSkills that don't meet exit criteria but no scores in the current year
- EL Pending Alternate – Students that have been identified in the SIS as EL and don't have any corresponding Alternate ACCESS scores to reflect that in EduSkills or they have historical Alternate ACCESS scores in EduSkills that don't meet exit criteria but no scores in the current year
- Needs Screener – Students that have an HLS in EduSkills that shows that they speak a language other than English and they have no scores
- Fluent English Speaker – Students that are either English only or have an HLS in EduSkills that shows that they speak a language other than English and they have met exit criteria on the WIDA Screener
- 1st Year Proficient – Former EL students that met exit criteria on either the ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 or Alternate ACCESS assessments during the spring testing window from the previous school year
- 2nd Year Proficient – Former EL students that met exit criteria on either the ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 or Alternate ACCESS assessments during the spring testing window two years prior to the current school year
- 3rd Year Proficient – Former EL students that met exit criteria on either the ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 or Alternate ACCESS assessments during the spring testing window three years prior to the current school year
- 4th Year Proficient – Former EL students that met exit criteria on either the ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 or Alternate ACCESS assessments during the spring testing window four years prior to the current school year
- Exited/5+ Years Proficient – Former EL students that met exit criteria on either the ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 or Alternate ACCESS assessments during the spring testing window 5+ years prior to the current school year
- There are other various statuses that can be assigned based on uncommon statuses that come from the SIS. These statuses will be duplicated into EduSkills, i.e. Unknown LEP
